cotogpsDT

Description The cotoGPS desktop enables you to edit and/or view the data cotoGPS writes. It is the perfect companion for your favourite Palm GPS solution!

It all works quite nice, a small manual is included, just press the '?'-button.
This application will grow with cotoGPS's features.

Tips, problems, solutions:
  • To import Markers via CSV you need these columns: name, description, category, lat, lon
lat and lon as D.MMMMMM, CVS delimiter must be ';'
  • Some Linux distributions have problems setting the correct locale, resulting in incorrectly displayed special characters like german Umlauts (ü). Unfortunately, this has impact on the characters displayed in cotoGPS on your Palm Powered Device. Be sure, to set the correct locale! (For german something like that: "export LC_ALL=de_DE".)

Source Version 0.9.8. No source. Feel free to ask for it. You need a Java runtime environment.

Don't know how to get a Java environment for your Windows machine? It's very easy! Just click on this button and follow instructions.

Just double click on the jar file after downloading.
If you have problems starting the application on Windows, this is a batch file. Put it into the same directory as the jar file and double click to start.

An easier way is to click on this link:
Launch My Application via Java Webstart.
